Musical poem
Teacher: Bianca Casady
Contact person: Jonas Bech Hansen, jbh@scenekunstskolen.dk
During our three weeks together, I will attempt to create a staged poem with a focus on developing the poem/stage relationship in a transdisciplinary perspective: where the poem is already seen as a complex reality, and the stage brings new possibilities to generate hybrid forms and content. Plotting new leak points (points of entry and departure) will bring, or perhaps reinforce, a specific aura inside my theatrical work.
Using a synesthetic approach to excavate and bring further to life the embryonic impulses seeded in the poem (its visual, sonore, tactile and dynamic aspects), stage practice will let us explore through a multi-sensual inquiry, the morphous architecture of the original text, and to project the poem as a sensible lieu in which we can discover, play, expand and transform
We will end up with a single-stage piece which is yet to be defined or even imagined
