Artistic response and artistic entrepreneurship

Teacher: Inger Eilersen and Rikke Lund Heinsen

Contact person: Jonas Bech Hansen, jbh@scenekunstskolen.dk

During the three weeks elective course the students will be offered a hybrid workspace where the method of artistic response and the knowledge field of artistic entrepreneurship will co-exist and co-work side by side. The starting point is the student’s own wishes to qualify, expand, and move an individual or collective idea into and out of the world. They will move between artistic response-laboratory work, concrete idea development and tool-based entrepreneurial knowledge about self-producing, structures in the professional artistic fields and realization skills.

Within the concrete frame of business model canvasses and a digital artistry platform, each student will during the course develop and gather different types of artistic and administrative material, analyses of their artistry and concrete plans for further work and investigations. The digital artistry platform will be presented at the end of the course together with possible views/performance sharings. The purpose is to entangle the artistic response investigations with the artistic entrepreneurial investigations and create concrete and useful material for future artistries. Depending on the students’ beforehand skills, there will be provided teaching in creating digital platforms.  What is experienced or acknowledged in the one learning space can be used and expanded in the other, so that the two trajectories are both distinct and connected.
