An incubation course for creative startups

INCUBATOR is a career and entrepreneurship course for art students, recently qualified artists or creative entrepreneurs in Copenhagen.

INCUBATOR gives you the opportunity to work with and clarify your future entrepreneurial career and to transform your idea into a business.

For 13 intensive weeks you become part of a dynamic interdisciplinary environment of peers. Here you will be challenged and inspired through talks, reflections, role models, coaching and tools to help you navigate and develop your creative or artistic career.

During the process you are given a personal office space in the creative office community, Republikken and we help you define a 5-year strategy for your future entrepreneurial career.

INCUABTOR focuses specifically on the creative and cultural industries as a growth environment.

Participants from the 2011 course have developed sustainable projects ranging from a trend forecast bureau to an architectural communication consultancy.

INCUBATOR 2011 was carried out together with a number of guest speakers and entrepreneurs as well as Republikken and CSE Lab at Copenhagen Business School. The project was supported by the Danish Foundation for Entrepreneurship and the local council for employment at the City of Copenhagen.
