The Artist in society
At the higher art eductions, we are increasingly discussing how the schools can contribute more broadly and engage more to art and society. In this connection, Henrik Sveidahl, Rector of the Rythmic Music Conservatory, has co-authored an international research article as part of the participation in the European collaborative project ”Strengthening Music in Society”.
The article tries to set a common understanding framework for the project and create a starting point for further reflection on how art and society interact. The article is thus a contribution to the larger conversation about how the artists and art professionals we educate in the higher artistic educations can contribute more broadly and engagingly to art and society.
The article is published in Frontiers in Psychology and can be found via this link
