Artistic Citizenship – Financial Sustainability and Employability

2021 ended with exploring the topic Artistic Citizenship – Responsibility or Possibility? 2022 starts off by continuing this exploration with the eighth edition of ANMAtalks which will take place on Thursday the 27th of January from 10:00-11:00 CET. The topic of the talk will be Artistic Citizenship – Financial Sustainability and Employability.

In this eighth edition, the approach to the topic of artistic citizenship will be from an employability perspective. The financial aspect of artistic citizenship and the role it plays in current and aspiring labour markets for musicians and artists, in general, is not something that is often discussed, but it is a discussion that is highly relevant to have as the focus on artistic citizenship within higher music education increases.
