Basic Economy & Financial Management
The course provides fundamental knowledge and tools to understand and manage the economic aspects of an independent practice. With a focus on both personal and professional finances, we work with how to navigate key topics such as business structures, tax, VAT, accounting, bookkeeping, and budgeting.
The aim is to create clarity and confidence in making financial decisions, enabling participants to build a sustainable framework around their independent work. The course also offers practical insights into funding, grant applications, and the legal frameworks of self-employment – always with a focus on connecting finances to creative practice as well as personal and professional values.
