The programme focuses on building and operating the artist’s business in relation to practice, professional activity, and external relations.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP is a course centred on personal entrepreneurship and the development of one’s own artistic business.
Course Description (National Film School of Denmark)
The subject Entrepreneurship addresses the external perspective of film production — how to activate and position your artistic voice so that it gains resonance and impact.
The course introduces a range of methods and tools that can be applied to identify, articulate, and disseminate the value of the artistic voice within cultural, social, and economic contexts.
The primary objective is to equip students with the capacity to establish and further develop sustainable careers after graduation.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
Upon completion of the course, the student must be able to demonstrate foundational knowledge and understanding of artistic entrepreneurship in relation to the filmic narrative’s societal relations, meanings, and potential.
Skills
The student must be able to identify and apply different methodological approaches to developing and realising diverse value potentials connected to filmic narratives.
Competencies
The student must be capable of initiating, developing, and translating their professional potential and talent into a sustainable professional practice.
