Untitled (Thinking About Zeno)
Objective
To create a work that through contact improvisation expresses something generally about human and not specifically about dance.
Project description
In one take “Vis Incita” captured eight dancers moving through a dark room as erratic sculptures. The dancers stop their movements and statically stands until collapsing.
Bodies communicate without the daily excessive use of spoken word through the dance genre contact-improvisation. In a bodily and improvised movement time and space can dissolve and in a static state become extremely present. While standing still the bodies pure physical communication continues, but the psyche is being activated as well.
